From first ideas to final construction, we help you plan and build with confidence.
From first ideas to final construction, we help you plan and build with confidence.
Building a pool should not begin with pressure to sign a construction contract. It should begin with understanding your property, your goals, your options, and your budget.
Our process is designed to answer the important questions before construction begins. We help you define the project, establish a realistic investment range, develop the design, select materials, complete the required construction documents, and prepare the project for permitting and construction.
By the time we are ready to build, both you and our team know exactly what we are building and how we plan to get there.

Your project deserves more than promises. Backyard Pools maintains the licensing, bonding, and insurance required to professionally manage and construct your project while protecting our clients, our crews, and the work being performed.
Proudly designing, building, and remodeling pools throughout Tucson, Vail, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Marana, Oro Valley, Nogales, Rio Rico, Yuma, Phoenix, and surrounding Arizona communities.
Every successful project starts with understanding what you want to build and what it will realistically take to build it.
During your consultation, we use the same project-planning system being developed for our online Backyard Builder to define your pool, major features, site conditions, and selections while establishing a realistic project price range.
If the project and investment range make sense, we execute the Design Agreement and move into detailed project development.
We develop your pool layout, refine dimensions and features, select materials and finishes, prepare construction drawings, coordinate engineering and permitting requirements, and complete the project takeoff needed to establish the final scope and pricing.
Once the design, scope, and investment are aligned, we execute the Construction Agreement and prepare your project for construction.
With the planning completed, construction can focus on execution.
Our team coordinates scheduling, excavation, trade partners, material deliveries, inspections, and each phase of construction according to the approved plans. Once construction is complete, we perform final inspections, address the project punch list, complete final orientation, and formally close the project with you.
Then comes the best part: enjoying the backyard you built it for.
Most expensive construction problems do not begin during construction. They begin before construction because something was missed, misunderstood, underestimated, or never properly planned.
Backyard Pools was built around a different approach.
We believe homeowners should understand what they are buying before they are asked to commit to building it. That means defining the project, understanding the site, establishing a realistic budget, selecting materials, developing the plans, and identifying potential problems before construction begins.
Whether you are building a new pool or remodeling an existing one, our goal is simple: remove uncertainty before it becomes an expensive change order.
You are not hiring us simply to dig a hole and install a pool.
You are hiring a team to help you plan the project correctly, design it intelligently, manage the details, and build what was actually promised.
The cheapest time to solve a construction problem is before construction starts.
Our design-first process helps identify site conditions, engineering requirements, material selections, permitting needs, project costs, and construction details before crews arrive at your property.
Fewer surprises. Fewer assumptions. Better decisions.
And a much better way to build a pool.
Most of our new Arizona pool projects begin around $65,000 fully permitted, but the real number depends on what you want to build and what your property requires.
That is why we establish the investment range early. During your consultation, we define the major features, site conditions, and project goals so you can make an informed decision before spending time and money designing a pool that does not fit your budget.
